With the launch of the new HUB-e, VELO DE VILLE not only signals the start of a new model year but also celebrates its 60th anniversary. This innovative urban e-bike combines a lightweight design with a comfortable riding position and the cutting-edge Bosch HUB motor. Lightweight for Everyday Use
The HUB-e has been engineered for cyclists who wish to enjoy electric assistance without having to manage a hefty bike. This makes it particularly well-suited for city environments where one frequently navigates stairs, squeezes through narrow passages, or needs to park with ease.
Weighing in at just 19 kilograms, the HUB-e ranks among the lighter electric city bikes in its category. It features an upright seating posture, complemented by wide tires designed to efficiently absorb bumps in the road.
New Bosch Hub Motor
Powering the HUB-e is the state-of-the-art Bosch HUB motor, which weighs approximately 2.3 kilograms. Combined with the Bosch PowerTube 360 Wh battery, the motor provides a torque of 45 Nm and a peak output of 400 watts. Its integration into the rear wheel hub not only keeps the design sleek but also contributes to the overall low weight of the bike.
Moreover, the HUB-e is part of the Bosch Smart System, enabling seamless Bluetooth connectivity with the digital Bosch ecosystem.
Comfort and Practicality
VELO DE VILLE has designed the HUB-e with everyday comfort in mind. The broad tires provide additional cushioning on cobblestones and less-maintained roads, while the upright seating position enhances visibility in traffic.
The bike supports a maximum total weight of 140 kilograms, allowing for ample capacity for groceries or other cargo.
HUB-e XS for Increased Agility
In addition to the standard model, VELO DE VILLE is introducing the HUB-e XS. This compact variant is tailored for cyclists seeking an even more maneuverable e-bike for bustling urban traffic and shorter trips.
The HUB-e XS also weighs from 19 kilograms and is available in both 26-inch Wave and 26-inch Diamond frames. Like its larger counterpart, it has a maximum permitted total weight of 140 kilograms and offers the same comfortable support.
