Cyclingworld Europe : Nouvel Élan dès 2027 !

by Slimport

Cyclingworld Europe, the premier cycling exhibition in Düsseldorf, is set to evolve its format starting in 2027. Responding to the growing demand from both the cycling industry and trade professionals, the event will expand its Friday schedule into a full exhibition day, enhancing opportunities for interaction among visitors, brands, and dealers.

Friday Becomes a Full Exhibition Day

Beginning with the 2027 edition, Cyclingworld Europe will open its doors on Friday, March 12, at 12:00 PM, extending the program until 8:00 PM. This adjustment aims to better distribute visitor traffic throughout the weekend and provide more time for attendees to engage with products, share experiences, and establish new connections. The popular test rides will also be part of this extended opening day.

No Separate Trade Day

Despite ongoing discussions within the cycling sector about the necessity of a separate B2B day, Cyclingworld Europe has opted for a different approach. There will be no exclusive trade day on Thursday. Instead, the organization intends to integrate the trade and industry sectors more deeply into the existing exhibition concept. “Cyclingworld has always primarily been a B2C exhibition, and that will remain our identity,” says exhibition director Stefan Maly. He emphasizes the focus on providing a qualitative experience for trade visitors within the same exhibition environment as consumers.

More Time for Setup

The additional exhibition day also impacts preparations behind the scenes. Exhibitors will have two full setup days on Wednesday and Thursday, allowing for a more relaxed assembly of stands before the exhibition begins. Additionally, Cyclingworld is developing a new digital exhibitor portal to centralize all orders and administrative processes, significantly simplifying preparation for participating brands and companies.

Nearly Fully Booked

The sustained interest in Cyclingworld Europe is evident from the exhibition floor occupancy rate. The 2027 edition is already approximately 97% booked. Requests from existing exhibitors to expand their stands are rarely approved, as the organization consciously wants to reserve space for new brands. “Fewer exhibitors on the same or even larger exhibition area is not what we want,” says Joey Stoczek, who has been part of the management team since 2025.

Cyclingworld Europe 2027 will take place from March 12 to 14, 2027, at Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf. With these enhancements, the exhibition is set to become an even more significant meeting point for both cycling enthusiasts and the cycling industry.
