Eurobike 2027: A Return to June with a Strong B2B Focus

Eurobike is reshaping its agenda for 2027, ushering in a new chapter for this prestigious international bike and e-mobility trade fair. The event will revert to the early summer, taking place from June 30 to July 2, 2027, at Messe Frankfurt. Furthermore, it will now become an annual event, firmly positioning itself as an international B2B fair serving the entire bicycle and e-mobility sector.

This strategic shift follows extensive consultations with exhibitors, industry professionals, international market partners, and the fair’s advisory board, which occurred during and after Eurobike 2026. The previously proposed September dates failed to generate enthusiasm among stakeholders, who expressed a clear preference for maintaining a June schedule and an annual occurrence.

A Familiar Timeframe

The new dates will see Eurobike returning to a time of year that has been familiar to manufacturers, brands, distributors, and media for many years. The 2027 fair will span three days, exclusively catering to professional visitors.

According to Fairnamic, the organizing body of Eurobike, this combination is intended to provide clarity and predictability moving forward. The organization aims to uphold what it considers the event’s key strengths: its international appeal, significant media attention, and its role as a meeting point for the global cycling industry.

Philipp Ferger, Managing Director of Fairnamic, noted that feedback from the sector was remarkably unanimous. By hosting Eurobike at the end of June and making it an annual event, the organization aims to secure a stable spot in the international calendar.

Emphasis on International Business

Eurobike 2027 will predominantly focus on showcasing new products and innovations while fostering international business connections. Manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, international trading companies, and technology firms can expect to engage directly with decision-makers and potential partners during these three action-packed days.

The event’s international character remains vital, as approximately half of all professional visitors in 2026 came from abroad. Eurobike boasts a network of sales partners in over 150 countries, amplifying its global reach.

Technology and innovation will once again take center stage, highlighting drive systems, components, connectivity, and other cutting-edge technologies that are poised to shape the bicycle and e-bike sector in the coming years. Furthermore, e-mobility will remain a core component of the concept, paving the way for discussions on urban mobility, logistical solutions, connected systems, and emerging forms of transportation.

A Compact Fair with New Networking Opportunities

The three B2B days are designed not just for presenting innovations but also for facilitating critical decision-making and establishing new business relationships. Targeted matchmaking initiatives and bookable meeting rooms will allow companies to engage in focused discussions away from the busy exhibition floor, fostering substantive business encounters alongside traditional trade booths.

Eurobike also boasts impressive international media coverage. Recent metrics indicate that the fair achieved a cumulative reach of 13.5 billion contacts, a visibility that Fairnamic aims to leverage even more effectively for exhibitors, brands, and product launches.

New Layout at Messe Frankfurt

Changes will also be evident on the exhibition floor. In 2027, Eurobike will shift to Halls 3, 4, and 5, situated around the Agora on the eastern side of Messe Frankfurt. The centrally located outdoor space will once again be utilized for test tracks and demo areas, while the nearby Forum and Festhalle will provide venues for partner events, meetings, and networking opportunities.

With this evolution, Eurobike 2027 is not only receiving a new date but also a distinctly sharpened profile. In response to discussions regarding the future of the fair, the organization is reaffirming its commitment to an annual international trade fair, three concentrated B2B days, and a calendar position that resonates with a large segment of the cycling industry.

The 35th edition of Eurobike will unfold from June 30 to July 2, 2027, in Frankfurt.
